Dan Zunterstein, a Seattle area resident, is a 1972 graduate of the University of Washington School of Architecture and Urban Planning. 

He has been working in metal since 1970, having learned his craft as a second generation sculptor from his father.  He specializes in northwest themes - cityscapes, mountain scenes, nautical, and nature.  Sculptures from Designs in Metal have been purchased by individuals and corporations throughout the United States and internationally.
